Kawhi Leonard says he has not purchased any property in Toronto yet, dispelling reports that originally surfaced last week.
The Toronto Raptors forward was asked if he had bought property in Toronto at a media availability on Sunday before Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors on Monday.
Reports last week claimed that Leonard had purchased a home in Toronto, based on information from two sources.
Some Raptors fans interpreted the potential purchase as proof that the 27-year-old planned to re-sign with Toronto during free agency this upcoming off season.
Leonard has averaged 31.1 points per game this season, with a 49.8 field goal percentage overall and 39.1 per cent from three-point territory.
