Memphis Grizzlies guard Josh Jackson, the fourth-overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft, will start the season in the NBA’s G League, according to a report from The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Jackson, a lottery pick by the Phoenix Suns, was traded to Memphis this past summer in a package deal for Kyle Korver.
After starring in his lone year at Kansas, Jackson is averaging 12.3 points per game — including a three-point shooting percentage below 30 per cent — through two NBA seasons.
