Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is set to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers on a one-year, $12 million deal, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.

The 25-year-old is with the same agency — Klutch Sports Group — as LeBron James, and so it should come as no surprise that this deal comes on the heels of the King joining the Lakers.

Caldwell-Pope averaged 13.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals for the Lakers last season, shooting 38.3 per cent from beyond the arc.

More to come.
