The NBA players’ union held a conference call on Monday to discuss start dates for the NBA playoffs, according to Shams Charania of Stadium and The Athletic.

The players discussed having the play-in tournament go from Aug. 16-17, then proceeding to start the first round of the NBA playoffs on Aug. 18. The second round of the playoffs would start on Sept. 1, then the conference finals would begin on Sept. 15.

With this timeline, Charania adds that the NBA Finals would start on Sept. 30, which means the last possible date to complete the series would be Oct. 12.
