Caris LeVert of the Brooklyn Nets is expected to make his long-awaited return from injury on Saturday against the Toronto Raptors, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
LeVert has been sidelined for several weeks while recovering from thumb surgery. His last game was Nov. 10 against the Phoenix Suns.
Prior to his injury, the 2016 first-round pick was enjoying he best season yet, albeit in a small sample size: 16.8 points per game, five rebounds per game and four assists per game in nine games.
The Nets host the Raptors on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET. Brooklyn enters the game having lost four of its past five, while the Raptors are coming off their lowest point total (75) since 2015.
