Patrick Patterson has agreed to a three-year, $18-million contract to remain with the Toronto Raptors.
The deal was first reported by ESPN and later confirmed by the Toronto Star‘s Doug Smith.
The 25-year-old forward was an integral piece to the Raptors’ surprising 48-win season and subsequent playoff run, bolstering Toronto’s second unit with averages of 9.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, while shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 41.1 percent from deep.
Patterson became a restricted free agent on July 1 after the Raptors extended a qualifying offer to him, Greivis Vasquez and Nando de Colo on June 26.
The Kentucky product first came to the Raptors as part of the Rudy Gay trade in December.
Earlier in the week, the Raptors agreed to a four-year $48-million deal with starting point guard Kyle Lowry.
