Report: Rockets’ Gordon to miss two weeks with left ankle sprain

Houston Rockets guard Eric Gordon is expected to miss two weeks after suffering a left ankle sprain, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The 31-year-old left with roughly a minute remaining in the second quarter against the Boston Celtics. Gordon had to be carried to the locker room after landing awkwardly on his left ankle following a leaping pass.

The 11-year NBA veteran is averaging 14.5 points along with 1.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists on 37 per cent shooting with Houston this season.
