San Antonio Spurs superstar Kawhi Leonard is back at the team’s practice facility and is potentially eyeing a potential March return, ESPN’s Michael C. Wright and Adrian Wojnarowski are reporting.
Leonard has been dealing with a right quad injury that’s kept him out of the lineup for the majority of the season.
He has played nine games this season, averaging 16.2 points and 4.7 rebounds on 46.8 per cent shooting.
A two-time All-NBA first-team member and two-time NBA defensive player of the year, the 26-year-old would be a major boon to the third-place San Antonio Spurs’ playoff hopes if he’s able to return by March.
