The basketball player formerly known as Ron Artest has changed his name again.
According to China Daily the name swap would be from Metta World Peace to “Panda Friend,” but Artest debunked that on on Twitter Thursday, confirming his new moniker is actually “The Pandas Friend.”

World Peace is changing his name in honour of his move to the Sichuan Blue Whales of the Chinese Basketball Association.
Shortly after declaring his big move, World Peace also announced that he would be visiting the famed Chinese bears with his daughter as one of the first things he does when he lands in the country, giving some insight into the name change.

The 34-year-old spent part of last season with the New York Knicks before he was waived by them in late February.
