Most didn’t think Holly Holm deserved to share the cage with Ronda Rousey at UFC 193, so the result of their women’s bantamweight title fight was a shock to onlookers.
It was the first time in Rousey’s UFC career in which her opponent fought intelligently, circled out when Rousey charged forward and wasn’t too aggressive. It resulted in Holm, a former world boxing champion, defeating Rousey with a second-round head kick knockout.
