The Ottawa Redblacks lost their starting quarterback on Thursday night.
Dru Brown suffered a leg injury against the Saskatchewan Roughriders and was forced to exit the game early in the second quarter.
Brown, 27, was injured after taking a low hit from Miles Brown. The Roughriders' defensive lineman received a roughing the passer penalty on the play.
Backup Dustin Crum stepped in as Brown's replacement.
Across seven games this season, his first with the Redblacks, Brown has thrown for 1,881 yards with six touchdowns and four interceptions. Ottawa entered Thursday's game with a 5-2 record.
