The Ottawa Redblacks are making a quarterback change.
Per Tim Baines of Postmedia Ottawa, the Redblacks (1-8) have confirmed Nick Arbuckle will start Saturday's game in Edmonton against the Elks.
Arbuckle came on in relief of the struggling Caleb Evans in the second half of Ottawa's 30-12 loss to the visiting Elks last Friday.
The Redblacks, who have the CFL's worst record, acquired Arbuckle in a trade with the Elks last month.
Ottawa's No. 1 quarterback, Jeremiah Masoli, has been sidelined with a leg injury since early July.
Arbuckle broke into the league with the Calgary Stampeders in 2018. He also has played for the Toronto Argonauts.
This season with Ottawa and Edmonton, he has completed 99 of 152 passes for 1,210 yards with two touchdowns and 10 interceptions
