Roughriders coach Craig Dickenson isolating after testing positive for COVID-19

Ahead of a crucial Labour Day matchup, Saskatchewan Roughriders head coach Craig Dickenson is isolating after testing positive for COVID-19.

The Roughriders expect Dickenson to return for the team’s game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in Regina.

Saskatchewan improved to 6-5 this season after beating the B.C. Lions and are looking to get into third place in the West Division in order to avoid a potential crossover to East for the playoffs.

Dickenson is in his third season as Roughriders’ head coach and has a 28-15 record during the regular season. The 50-year-old led Saskatchewan to the top of the West Division in 2019 but lost the West Final to the Blue Bombers who went on to win the Grey Cup.
