Team Brendan Bottcher and Team Matt Dunstone have already booked their spots to the 2024 Brier.
Curling Canada announced Tuesday both clubs had pre-qualified for the Canadian men's curling championship based on the 2022-23 Canadian Team Ranking System.
The Brier will take place March 1-10, 2024, at the Brandt Centre in Regina with the winner representing Canada later that month in Switzerland.
Team Brad Gushue will return as the defending champions Team Canada.
Bottcher formed a new squad last season with third Marc Kennedy, second Brett Gallant and lead Ben Hebert. The Calgary-based club won two Grand Slam of Curling titles at the Co-op Canadian Open and the season-ending KIOTI Tractor Champions Cup and posted perfect records in both tournaments. They also earned bronze medals at the Brier as Wild Card One.
Dunstone also overhauled his lineup reuniting with junior teammate Colton Lott (second) while adding B.J. Neufeld (third) and Ryan Harnden (lead). The Winnipeg-based club finished runners-up in one Grand Slam tournament at the HearingLife Tour Challenge and earned silver medals at the Brier as Team Manitoba.
Curling Canada announced last week Team Rachel Homan and Team Jennifer Jones as the pre-qualified teams for the Scotties Tournament of Hearts running Feb. 16-25 at Calgary's WinSport Event Centre. Team Kerri Einarson returns as Team Canada.
Both national championships will also include 14 entries from provincial and territorial playdowns plus the top non-qualified team from the 2023-24 CTRS standings.
