Skip Bruce Mouat and his Scottish squad kicked off their season by capturing the Baden Masters title in Switzerland.
Mouat edged Switzerland's Yannick Schwaller 7-6 in an extra end during Sunday's final.
The team of Mouat, third Grant Hardie, second Bobby Lammie and lead Hammy McMillan Jr., who are ranked No. 2 in the world, completed an undefeated 7-0 run through the tournament.
Mouat will now look to defend the title at the Euro Super Series running Aug. 21-25 in Stirling, Scotland.
Curling action in North America picks up with the U-25 NextGen Classic, Aug. 27 to Sept. 2, in Edmonton and the Icebreaker Challenge, Aug. 30 to Sept. 1, in Morris, Man.
