Tour Roundup: Homan, Schwaller win Shorty Jenkins Classic

Canada’s Team Rachel Homan came from behind to claim the Shorty Jenkins Classic women’s title.

The Ottawa-based Team Homan, ranked No. 1 in the world, got out to a perfect start to the season finishing the tournament with an unblemished 8-0 record.

Yannick Schwaller and his Swiss squad captured their second title in as many weeks on the men’s side.

Schwaller also completed an 8-0 run with a 5-3 victory over Scotland’s Team Bruce Mouat in the men’s final.

Team Schwaller, ranked fourth overall, took the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard last weekend.
