Champions of Europe once again.
The most decorated country of the 21st Century have made their way back to the highest point in Europe, as Spain won their record fourth European title and their third in the last 16 years.
But it's been a long 12 years since their last win in 2012, comprised of back-to-back losses to Italy in the knockout stages — in the Round of 16 in 2016 and the semi-finals in 2021.
More importantly, between the two wins, the team has seen a massive facelift, as the old guard of guys like Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets and Fernando Torres has been replaced by the brightest young core perhaps in the world.
The 17-year-old Lamine Yamal, the 22-year-old Nico Williams and the 28-year-old defensive midfield duo of Fabian Ruiz and Rodri signalled a changing of the guard but a return to form for the Iberian side.
Each of those players played a massive role for the Spaniards as they cemented a perfect run at the Euros with a 2-1 win over England and started what could be another dynastic era for Spanish football.
Here are some of the best reactions from around the footy world as fans witnessed the potential awakening of another run atop the sport for Spain.
Of course, where there's a winner, there's a loser.
England was left in shambles for the second straight Euros, running out of gas and miracles in the finals of the international tournament.
After the most recent iteration of their 'Golden Generation' once again proved unable to finish the job, though some looked on with optimism that the resilient squad once again fought until the final whistle, most were understandably heartbroken.
