Fan Fuel on NHL Trade Rumours: Has the play of Roberto Luongo killed any Canucks trade talk?

Fans are wondering if Roberto Luongo will havea new home before the 2013 NHL trade deadline expires on April 3.

BY ROB MACNEIL – FAN FUEL BLOGGER

Vancouver Canucks head coach Alain Vigneault is starting Roberto Luongo for the fourth straight game on Monday night as his team faces the Edmonton Oilers. At what point is it fair to consider that the roles are back to being reversed and Luongo is the starter and Cory Schneider is the backup? It is no slight to Schneider, but the numbers certainly justify running with Luongo at this point. Luongo has a 1.46 GAA and a .944 save percentage vs. Schneider with a 3.13 GAA and a .897 save percentage.

Who do you feel is the Canucks number one goalie and is a trade for Luongo off the table until at least the offseason?
