Ohio Bobcats star quarterback Kurtis Rourke exited his team's game against Ball State with an apparent knee injury in the first half on Tuesday.
The Canadian had to be helped off the field after being hit following a pass late in the second quarter of his team's 32-18 win.
Rourke, the younger brother of B.C. Lions star quarterback Nathan Rourke, was wearing a knee brace on the sideline in the second half.
The native of Oakville, Ont. is fifth in the NCAA with 3,256 passing yards this year. He has completed 69.1 per cent of his passes with 25 touchdowns and four interceptions.
Ohio (8-3) now enters a huge game against Bowling Green next Tuesday with the status of its starting quarterback in doubt.
If Ohio wins, it will take the MAC East Division crown and earn a spot in the conference title game.
