Stampeders sign four defensive linemen

Stamps head coach and general manager John Hufnagel announced the team had signed non-import Prince Baffoh and imports K.C. Asiodu, Kareem Brown and Bolden.

Bolden spent the last several weeks of the 2011 season on the Stamps practice roster. He played 17 games with Hamilton, recording 39 tackles and two sacks. Bolden played four seasons at the University of Tennessee prior to joining the Ticats in 2009.

Baffoh spent 2010 and 2011 with the Calgary Colts of the Prairie Football Conference. He was named an all-star in both seasons. In 2011, he recorded 21 tackles and a PFC-leading 7.5 sacks en route to being named a Canadian Junior Football League All-Canadian. Baffoh spent much of 2011 practicing with the Stampeders

Asiodu is an NFL veteran that was signed as an undrafted free agent by the St. Louis Rams in 2009 and spent part of that season with the Miami Dolphins. He spent 2010 with the New Orleans Saints in 2010 and 2011 with the Green Bay Packers. During his college years he played for the University of Nevada before transferring to Central Oklahoma. He was named co-linebacker of the year as a senior.

Brown was a fourth-round draft pick of the New England Patriots in 2007, but spent the 2007 and 2008 seasons with the New York Jets. He also played for the New York Giants and Tennessee Titans. Brown played college football at the University of Miami where he was named to the second-team all-Atlantic coast conference team in 2006 as a senior.
