Eskimos sign free agents Colclough, Fulton

The Edmonton Eskimos have signed defensive back Ricardo Colclough and offensive tackle Xavier Fulton, the club announced on Monday.

Colclough was taken by the Pittsburgh Steelers (second round) in the 2004 NFL draft. He was active for 43 games over four NFL clubs (Steelers, Browns, Panthers, and Chiefs). In his NFL career Colclough registered 69 tackles, 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and one interception for 14 yards.

Fulton was a fifth-round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2009 NFL draft. He has spent time in the NFL on the Colts, 49ers and Redskins practice rosters. He spent the 2011 season with Virginia of the UFL.

“We are very pleased to sign Ricardo and Xavier. They are both quality players who will bring strong competition to their respective positions,” Eskimos general manager Eric Tillman said about the players.
