REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders bolstered their offence Friday by re-signing receiver Chris Getzlaf and running back Hugh Charles to contract extensions.
Both players were slated to become free agents next month.
Getzlaf, of Regina, had 41 catches for 531 yards and six touchdowns last season. He’s heading into his third season with the Riders.
Charles appeared in four games for the CFL club last year, rushing for 136 yards and three TDs on 35 carries. He also added four catches for 80 yards and one touchdown.
