Winnipeg Blue Bombers sign defensive back Gaitor to contract extension

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed American defensive back Anthony Gaitor on Wednesday to a contract extension through the 2020 season.

Gaitor was entering the final year of his agreement this season.

Gaitor spent 2018 with Winnipeg after signing as a free agent from the BC Lions. He recorded two interceptions, two defensive touchdowns, two sacks and 27 tackles in 10 games.

Gaitor spent his first two CFL seasons with B.C. He has recorded 100 tackles, two sacks, five interceptions, four defensive touchdowns and two forced fumbles in 33 career games.
