ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — David Lee has been hired as the quarterbacks coach for the Buffalo Bills.

He returns to Buffalo after spending the past two seasons as the New York Jets quarterbacks coach under coach Rex Ryan, who was hired as the new Bills coach.

Lee, who was the Bills quarterbacks coach in 2012, enters his 11th season in the NFL.

Lee’s first stint in the NFL came with the Dallas Cowboys as the team’s offensive quality control coach from 2003-06 and added quarterback responsibilities in 2005. In his four years with Dallas, three different quarterbacks reached the 3,000-yard mark in a season.
