Packers RB Starks to get start vs. Bengals

GREEN BAY, Wis. — James Starks will get the start at running back Sunday for the Packers against the Bengals with rookie Eddie Lacy recovering from a concussion.

McCarthy named Starks the starter after practice Wednesday. Starks ran for a career-best 132 yards last week against the Redskins.

Lacy left that game in the first quarter following a head-first tackle by Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather. Later, Meriweather left the game with his own concussion on a similar play trying to take down Starks.

McCarthy said Lacy will undergo further testing this week.

Besides Lacy, fullback John Kuhn also missed practice Wednesday with a hamstring injury.
