Patrick Peterson has spent every game of his NFL career in an Arizona Cardinals uniform but it appears those days could be finally coming to an end.
The perennial Pro Bowl cornerback has requested a trade, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Peterson has been selected to the Pro Bowl in seven consecutive seasons since being selected fifth overall by the Cardinals in 2011. Peterson has three years remaining on his current contract.
The 28-year-old has 23 interceptions since he entered the league, which is third most in the NFL during that time.
Teams have until Oct. 30 to complete trades. Arizona is a league-worst 1-6 as they get set to enter a Week 8 home contest against the San Francisco 49ers.
