The New England Patriots will be looking to remain undefeated on Sunday as they travel to Washington to battle the winless Redskins as lofty 15.5-point road favourites on the NFL odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

After posting dominating wins in their first three outings, New England earned a narrow 16-10 victory in Buffalo last weekend to take an unblemished 4-0 straight-up record into Sunday’s game at FedExField.

Despite struggling to get past the previously unbeaten Bills while pegged as 7-point road chalk at sports betting sites, the Patriots continued to play stellar defence, which currently ranks tops in the NFL after surrendering just 27 points through their first four outings. New England’s hot start has also bolstered the team’s position as strong +333 favourites on the Super Bowl odds.

Meanwhile, the Redskins return home following last weekend’s humiliating 24-3 loss to the New York Giants as 3-point road underdogs that dropped them to 0-4 SU on the season and 1-10 SU over their past 11 contests

Just two other teams remain undefeated entering Week 5. The Kansas City Chiefs look to keep pace with New England as they host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football as 11-point chalk, while the San Francisco 49ers return from an early Week 4 bye to take on the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football as 3.5-point favourites.

The Chiefs needed a fourth-quarter comeback to get past the surprising Detroit Lions by a 34-30 score last weekend. However, Kansas City remains tied with Baltimore as the highest scoring teams in the NFL this season, racking up 33.75 points per game.

The Colts will be looking to avenge their loss to Kansas City in last year’s playoffs, but must first overcome last week’s 31-24 loss to the visiting Oakland Raiders that dropped them to 2-2 on the season.

The Niners also needed a forth-quarter rally to seal the win in their last outing, eking out a 24-20 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers to improve to 3-0 SU. With the win, San Francisco improved to 4-2 SU in its past six home dates but remains a shaky bet on home turf, going 7-17 ATS over its past 24 outings.

Elsewhere on the NFL Week 5 odds, the Los Angeles Rams aim to bounce back from a stunning 55-40 loss to Tampa Bay as they visit Seattle on Thursday Night Football as small 1.5-point underdogs. The Bills look to bounce back from their loss to the Patriots as they visit Tennessee as 3-point underdogs, while an AFC North clash has the Steelers hosting the Baltimore Ravens as 3.5-point underdogs.
