Daily Gallery: Longest Tenured Coaches

Doc Rivers was hired on April 29, 2004 to coach the Boston Celtics, and has taken them to the playoffs in each of the past six seasons. With two trips to the Finals, and one championship ring, the 2000 AP Coach of the Year has helped the Celtics contend each year. Rivers has coached the Eastern Conference at two All-Star games, and with a five-year extension in 2011, will likely be with the Celtics for years to come.
