The golf world has gotten its first glimpse of Tiger Woods since the golf icon was in a serious car accident back on Feb. 23.
Woods shared a photo on his Instagram account Friday, showing him standing on crutches with his dog next to him, flashing his famous smile.
“My course is coming along faster than I am,” Woods said in his caption. “But it’s nice to have a faithful rehab partner, man’s best friend.”

There was a cast covering Tiger’s right leg that had to undergo multiple surgeries due to injuries caused by the crash.
Woods suffered significant compound fractures to both his tibia and fibula, along with smaller injuries to the ankle and foot.
There is no timeline for the golf legend’s return to the course, but on April 7, Woods shared on Twitter after the investigation of his accident was officially closed that he would “continue to focus on (his) recovery and family.”

Woods has undergone five back surgeries and five knee surgeries over the course of his career, so he is no stranger to making a comeback from an injury.
But regardless of when he tees it up again, the golf world breathed a sigh of relief to see the all-time great back in good spirits.
