Jordan Spieth will be looking to build off a third-place finish at last weekend’s Houston Open as he prepares to tee off on Thursday at the 82nd edition of the Masters as a +900 favourite on the golf odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
Spieth recovered from shaky performances at last month’s Valspar Championship and WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play to shoot three sub-70 rounds in Houston as a +1100 bet, and will be looking for his second career Masters victory this week at Augusta National Golf Club.
The 24-year-old Texan leads a crowded group atop the 2018 Masters odds, and is closely followed by Rory McIlroy at +1000, while Justin Thomas joins Dustin Johnson at +1100.

McIlroy finished seventh at the Masters a year ago, and looks to complete the career grand slam with a win at Augusta after ending an 18-month winless drought with a victory at last month’s Arnold Palmer Invitational and paying out on +1400 odds.
Johnson hopes to bounce back after missing last year’s tournament with a back injury suffered just hours before his scheduled tee time. Thomas tries to build on his first major tournament victory at last year’s PGA Championship while sporting +4000 odds, but has failed to crack the Top 20 in two previous appearances at Augusta.
Tiger Woods returns to the Masters this week for the first time since 2015, knotted with Britain’s Justin Rose at +1400 odds. The 14-time major tournament winner has been sidelined by an array of injuries over the past two years, and failed to make the cut in the final three major tournaments of 2015.
However, Woods has been a steady performer in his return to action this year, finishing in the top five in his past two outings, including a share of second place at the Valspar Championship as a +2500 bet.
Woods is also the focus of a number of available Masters tournament prop bets. The 42-year-old is pegged as a +400 wager to record an eagle in first-round action on Thursday, and is a +125 bet to pick up an eagle at some time during this year’s tournament.
Woods also joins the four Masters betting favourites with +2000 odds of having a bogey-free day on Thursday, and is deadlocked with Johnson as a +550 co-favourite to emerge as the top American at the 2018 Masters.
Xander Schauffele has recorded six Top-25 performances so far this season, and has emerged as +330 bet to be the top debutant at this year’s tournament, while Spieth edges out Woods as +250 chalk to turn in the best performance of any former Masters champion.
