McCullough on PGA: Poulter in high demand

The undisputed Ryder Cup hero for the Europeans, Ian Poulter dazzled the golf world on both Saturday and Sunday afternoon, wearing his heart on his sleeve as he drained putt after putt, endearing him to sports fans across the world.

Since then he has been in high demand, making the media rounds Tuesday and Wednesday. Luckily for us, he’s one of the most active athletes on Twitter, allowing us a peek into the life of an in-demand competitor.

Starting out bright and early Tuesday morning, Poulter was on Squawk Box on CNCB in New York at 6:45 a.m. ET. Unlike Ryder Cup teammate Rory McIlroy though, he didn’t mess up the time zones and was able to make it on time without a police escort.

He was then a guest (via phone) on The Golf Channel’s Morning Drive at 8:15 a.m. ET.

From there Poulter continued his tour through New York with a stop at CNN, more specifically Piers Morgan’s studio for a match-play putt off. Naturally, Poulter came out on top.

And with that, he was off to Bristol, Connecticut to ESPN headquarters.

Poulter’s also made an appearance on the Scott Van Pelt Show.

Although Ian hasn’t been active on Twitter today, he alluded to having another busy day ahead whilst lying in bed last night.
