After coaching the Canadian men's hockey team at the Beijing Olympics, Claude Julien will return to the role for the World Championship, Hockey Canada announced Monday.
Ottawa Senators head coach D.J. Smith and Arizona Coyotes head coach Andre Tourigny will serve as assistants.
Julien, a longtime NHL head coach, guided Canada to the quarterfinals at the Olympics, where the team was eliminated with a 2-0 loss against Sweden.
Shane Doan also returns as general manager after serving in that role at the Olympics.
Rick Nash, a member of the Columbus Blue Jackets' front office, will make his Hockey Canada management debut as an assistant GM.
Canada will open the tournament on May 13 against Germany.
Canada, coached by Gerard Gallant, won the event last year in Latvia.
