Knights’ Max Jones suspended 10 games for cross-check

Max Jones of the London Knights was ejected from Friday's game for a cross-checking Jonah Gadjovich of the Owen Sound Attack in the face.

London Knights forward Max Jones has been suspended 10 games for his cross-check to the face of Owen Sound’s Jonah Gadjovich.

Jones has only appeared in 29 games for London this season, scoring 14 goals and 32 points.

He was drafted in the first round (24th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft by the Anaheim Ducks.

The 19-year-old was suspended 12 games for a blindside hit to the head during the 2016 OHL playoffs.
