The Vancouver Giants play the Kelowna Rockets in the first meeting of the season between the B.C. Division rivals, and fans can listen to the game live on Sportsnet 650 Vancouver.

Coverage begins with the pre-game show at 6:00 p.m. PT, followed by puck drop at 7:05 p.m. PT.

The Giants have won three of their first four games this season, but the Rockets are struggling so far, with only one win in five tries. The Giants have made two recent additions to their blueline in recent days, adding Ty Ettinger in a trade with the Wheat Kings, and claiming Ryan Pouliot off waivers.

Forward James Malm leads the team in scoring with 4 goals and 5 points in the early going. Goalie David Tendeck has been a standout so far, playing all four games and registering a 1.98 GAA and a .927 save percentage. The Giants are coming off a 5-4 shootout win over the Spokane Chiefs.
