QMJHL: Graves scores 2, Remparts down Olympiques

QUEBEC — Ryan Graves scored two goals and assisted on another as the Quebec Remparts downed the Gatineau Olympiques 5-1 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Wednesday.

Nikols Brouillard had a goal and a helper for the Remparts (19-9-1), Donovan Rehill also scored and Adam Erne rounded out Quebec’s offence with an empty-net goal.

Joey Richard had the first goal of the game, finding the back of the net for the Olympiques (14-12-4) at 5:30 of the second period.

Remparts goalie Callum Booth stopped 23 shots in the win. Gatineau’s Brandon Whitney made 27 saves in the losing effort.

Quebec was 3 for 4 on the power play while the Olympiques failed to score on two chances with the man advantage.

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Brandon Gignac had two goals and three assists to power Shawinigan over the Drakkar.

Dylan Labbe scored twice for the Cataractes (15-13-2), while Alex Pawelczyk also found the back of the net.

Dzmitry Ambrozheichik had the lone goal for Baie-Comeau (17-9-4).
