Prince Albert acquires Busenius, Hart in five-player trade with Medicine Hat
The Prince Albert Raiders acquired defenceman Dylan Busenius and forward Jayden Hart in a five-player trade with the Medicine Hat Tigers on Tuesday.
The Raiders also will have the Tigers’ sixth-round pick in the 2014 Western Hockey League draft.
In return, Prince Albert sent defenceman Zach Hodder, forward Logan McVeigh, prospect Connor Hobbs and a second-round pick in the 2013 draft to Medicine Hat.
Busenius is tied for ninth in scoring among WHL defenceman with six goals and 20 assists in 37 games this season.
"Dylan brings over 200 games of experience to our lineup, as well as plenty of playoff experience," said Raiders general manager Bruno Campese. "We believe he is having a breakout season on the back end and can play in all situations, including the power play."
Hart meanwhile has five goals and five assists in 18 games.
