Players, teams react to death of QMJHL’s Boyd

Ten former National Hockey League players are claiming in a class-action lawsuit that the league hasn't done enough to protect players from concussions.

When the news of Acadie-Bathurst Titan prospect Jordan Boyd’s tragic death broke, the hockey world went into a collective state of mourning.

Boyd, 16, collapsed during a training session with the QMJHL team Monday and first responders were unable to revive him. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
