Good things come to those who wait.
Those words ring true for Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Rob Zepp.
At age 33, Zepp became the oldest goalie to win his NHL debut since 1926. The record is held by Hugh Lehman, who was 41 at the time of his debut.

Zepp stopped 25 shots as the Flyers defeated the Winnipeg Jets 4-3 in overtime Sunday.
The Newmarket, Ont., native signed with the squad in the summer, and has been playing for the LeHigh Valley Phantoms of the AHL. He has spent much of his career playing overseas.
Zepp dressed for Saturday’s game against the Toronto Maple Leafs following an injury to starting goalie Steve Mason during practice on Friday, but served as backup to Ray Emery.
