Gotta See It: Alex Tuch’s struttin’ celebration

Check out this goal and great celebration from Minnesota Wild prospect Alex Tuch during developmental camp, who chirps the opponents bench afterwards all in good fun.

Part Chi Chi Rodriguez swashbuckler, part Cosmo Kramer pimp strut, the goal celebration Alex Tuch whipped out Tuesday night trumped what was a pretty sweet shootout goal.

The Minnesota Wild’s No. 1 pick in 2014 (and Noah Hanifin’s BFF?) displayed 37 pieces of flair during a post-scrimmage shootout at the Wild’s development camp.

Watch his moves:

“The shootout move was kinda lucky,” Tuch told reporters afterward. “The crowd wasn’t as into it as I thought they’d be, so I thought I’d spark it up a bit, get some guys chirping and laughing.”

The 19-year-old winger–who will be returning for a second season at Boston College–said he picked up the celebration in the NCAA dressing room.

“My assistant coach at BC used to do it in the locker room to get us laughing,” Tuch explained, “so I thought I’d do it on the ice.”
