Anze Kopitar ‘day-to-day’ with upper-body injury

Mark Stone scored with 6.5 seconds left in the third period and the Ottawa Senators defeated the Los Angeles Kings.

Los Angeles Kings forward Anze Kopitar is day-to-day with an upper-body injury after leaving Friday’s game against the Ottawa Senators.

Kopitar played 17:55 before exiting the game. He will reportedly travel with the team to Winnipeg for their game on Sunday.

The Kings centre appeared to injure himself in the third period after a collision against the boards with Senators defenceman Marc Methot.

Kopitar has two goals and eight points in 15 games this season.
