The Colorado Avalanche will sign forward Shane Bowers to an entry-level contract, Sportsnet has confirmed.
Bowers is the sixth player from Boston University to leave the Terriers this week, finishing his sophomore season with 11 goals and 10 assists in 37 games.
A first-round pick of the Ottawa Senators in 2017, Bowers was acquired in the blockbuster deal that sent Matt Duchene to Ottawa in November 2017.
Bowers represented Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championships earlier this year, notching two assists in five games.
