Almost a year removed from his last game in the NHL, Todd Bertuzzi is looking for another shot.
Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports that Bertuzzi, who turns 40 in February, has reached out to the Senators and other NHL teams about making his way back to the league after sitting out the first half of the season.
The veteran winger scored nine goals and had seven assists in 59 games for the Detroit Red Wings last year. In his career he has 314 goals and 770 points in 1159 games played.
