Blackhawks sign Dylan Sikura to entry-level deal

The Chicago Blackhawks announced that they have signed forward Dylan Sikura to a two-year entry-level contract on Sunday.

Sikura, 22, is a finalist for the Hobey Baker award. He scored 22 goals, 32 assists, 54 points in 35 games with Northeastern this season.

Selected by Chicago in the sixth-round of the 2014 draft, Sikura finished a four-year NCAA career, scoring 58 goals, 88 assists, 146 points in 137 games, all with Northeastern.

The Aurora, Ont., native is expected to join the Blackhawks for the remainder of the season and could make his NHL debut this week according to Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times.
