Jones has missed the first seven games of the season with a knee injury that he suffered on Sept. 25 in a pre-season game against the Buffalo Sabres. At the time he was estimated to be out four to six weeks and Tuesday’s game will be exactly four weeks since the injury.
Last season, the 24-year-old had 16 goals and 57 points in 78 games. He also finished fourth in voting for the Norris Trophy.
