One thousand points for Henrik Sedin, and one nasty gash on the back of Bo Horvat‘s head.
Horvat needed some repairs after “blocking” teammate Nikita Tryamkin‘s rising blast during Friday’s game against the Florida Panthers.
The 21-year-old was able to return to the game, though this morning the Vancouver Canucks tweeted out the consequences of getting in the way of Tryamkin’s shot.
It’s worth mentioning here that Horvat was in fact wearing a helmet when he got hit with the puck.
The young centre is expected to be in they visit the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday.
