Following in the bare footsteps of the Boston Bruins’ Zdeno Chara and the Vancouver Canucks’ Ryan Kesler, New York Rangers (very) forward Brad Richards is latest NHL star to shed it all for ESPN The Magazine’s “Body Issue.”
Sure to be the subject of much dressing-room ribbing and/or a quiet, disapproving John Tortorella head shake, Richards posed with only a stick for the fourth edition of the photo special that also features Toronto Blue Jays slugger Jose Bautista.
“It’s not something you do every day,” Richards says of the clothes-free photo shoot. “It’s a different world that I’m not used to.”
