Brayden Schenn to have hearing Tuesday over T.J. Oshie hit

It appears Brayden Schenn of the Philadelphia Flyers launches himself at T.J. Oshie causing an injury.

Philadelphia Flyers forward Brayden Schenn will have a hearing Tuesday for his hit on Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie that took place in Game 6 of their first round series.

Schenn appeared to leave his feet to hit Oshie up high, possibly in the head area (see video above). Oshie left the game but returned to play in the third period. Washington defeated Philadelphia to advance to the second round in the post-season.

Schenn and Oshie fought each other at the outset of Game 5.

Schenn was suspended one game in 2013 for charging New Jersey Devils defenceman Anton Volchenkov.
