The Boston Bruins have acquired forward Tommy Wingels from the Chicago Blackhawks.
Wingels has seven goals and 12 points in 57 games this season.
The 29-year-old will be an unrestricted free agent this off-season.
The pick sent to Chicago will become a fourth-rounder if the Bruins advance past the first round of the NHL Playoffs.
He has 60 goals and 138 points in 430 career NHL games, spent with San Jose, Ottawa, and Chicago.
