Bruins fans can live the suite life in Bobby Orr-themed hotel room

Two Canadian legends took in Game 4 between the Ottawa Senators and Boston Bruins.

If you dream in black and gold, Boston’s Ames Hotel is here to accommodate your every need with a brand new suite dedicated to Boston Bruins great Bobby Orr.

Room No. 4 (of course) at the historic boutique hotel is completely decked out in Orr memorabilia, from old Victoriaville hockey sticks and replica sweaters to photos of his most iconic moments and small-scale models of some of his trophies.

The (extremely stylish) ode to Orr was officially unveiled on Tuesday, with Orr—who donated some items from his own collection—onsite to drop the puck.

“Unbelievable, it really is, they’ve done a nice job,” Orr told The Boston Globe. “If you’re a sports buff, a hockey buff, it’s great.

“But I can assure you, I didn’t grow up thinking one day I’d have a hotel room in my name. That didn’t cross my mind.”

The suite also features a penalty box, a replica of the old Boston Garden scoreboard, and a closet that’s made to look like Orr’s locker room stall.

Here’s a look, via the Ames Hotel’s Facebook page:

The room is now officially available to be rented, with daily rates starting at around $500 and potentially getting up to $2,000, according to The Globe.

Some of the ongoing proceeds from the room will go to the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame in Parry Sound, Ont., an interactive hockey museum opened in 2003 centred around the hockey great as well as others who have contributed to sporting success in his hometown.
