The Montreal Canadiens have acquired forward Aaron Luchuk along with a 2020 seventh-round draft pick from the Ottawa Senators for forward Matthew Peca.

Montreal says Luchuk will report to the AHL’s Laval Rocket.

Peca, 26, was scoreless in five games this season for the Canadiens while scoring four times and adding nine assists in 34 games for the Rocket.

Luchuk was recently dealt to the Senators organization by the Toronto Maple Leafs and has split time this season between the AHL and ECHL.
